Reflection: Ben and Jerry's use to sell this ice cream called "wavy gray" it was a huge hit in the 1960's however it took a lot of money to make. It took over three years and hundreds of recepies to make this one ice cream. After the fact the carmel, cashew delight was discontinued. Because this ice cream was overly expensive to make and only sold at the same price that you can by other Ben and Jerry's ice cream for the company discontinued the product. Because most people go after the brand and not actually the specific type of ice cream they're eating, Ben and Jerry's can sell one of their other hundred flavors of ice cream that cost a fraction of what it took and what it does take to make "wavy gravy" ice cream and make way more money. Making products that people still enjoy at the fraction of the cost. Maximizing the profit of a business.
